Rules and Regulations for Students

The students coming to school on their own transport should arrive five minutes before the bell for assembly is rung. Bicycles must be kept locked. The students should not ride around the School Campus on bicycles.

No students should leave the school premises during school hours, including recess, without permission.

Student should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform has to be worn on all class days and for the school functions. Non- sikh boys should get their hair trimmed at regular intervals. Long hair, mush-room cuts etc. are not permitted. The students who are shabbily dressed or are not in proper uniform, will be sent home.

No shouting, whistling or running in the corridors of the school building is allowed at any time.

No student should scratch or spoil the desks, chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to the school. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the Class teacher, the Master on Duty, or the Principal. Any wilful damage done will be made good by the one who has done it. Any one who notices something damaged, should report the matter even if he or she does not know who has done it. Students shall not bring any sharp instrument to school.

Only text books or library books should be brought to school by the students.

Lending or borrowing of money and other articles is not permitted.

All students should avail themselves of the service of the Lost and Found Department. Everyone in this school by tradition should be depositing with this department, any property found in or around the school premises

The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his/her belongings, Blazers and jerseys should also bear the name of the student.

Girl students should not wear any cosmetics in school.

During lunch time, students should observe the decorum of the Dining Hall.

At games time, all students are required to participate in the games. No excuse is acceptable in this context. Exemption would only be given on medical grounds.

At break the students should receive their share in an orderly manner.

At the time of departures the students should patiently and in an orderly manner wait for the buses and board their respective buses as soon as they arrive. They should occupy seats as allotted according to the boarding alighting points.

They should refrain from damaging the bus seats.

No student is permitted to drive any motor vehicle to and from school.

A half-day declared on any day means that Saturday timings will be followed. However, for that day, the following schedule will be followed:

Celebration of birthdays in the school is not permitted.

Children must have breakfast before coming to school. They will be sent back if needed.

To be a member of the SCHOOL TEAM, a student must get a C + in every subject and B – in aggregate.

Once a child comes to school he/she may be collected only when the school is over. Under no circumstance will a child be allowed to leave school before the end of the day.

There will be no first shift leave given to any student of the senior school. Kindly do not ask for such type of leave for any reason whatsoever.

If a student comes late to school, he/she is likely to be sent back home.

Children can visit store during break time or during games period.

School Store timings are from 1100 & 1200hrs. These may be adhered to.

Parents can visit school between 1100 & 1200hrs. for office work. They can meet teachers between 1430 & 1530, unless there is an emergency.

It is compulsory for all students to converse in English.

The school reserves the right to withdraw students whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to others students.
It is not advisable to bring valuable articles, expensive watches, fountain pens, jewellery etc. to school. Students will therefore not use pens/boxes sharpners/ rubbers which cost more than Rs. 15/-. To standarise, the following make items be procured:
a) Ball Pens – LINC Hi School – Blue – I
b) Ink Pen – Larson – cost Rs. 10/-
c) Ink -Quink – (Royal Blue)
d) Geometry Box – NIL
(However the children will procure simple Scale – 1 (Trendy) Compass – 1 (Camel) and ‘D’ 1 (without anything extra like colours , figures etc.) and use a simple plastic box for that.
Those who achieve 100% attendance target, will be rewarded. Any pupil absent from school without prior sanction of the Principal will be harming his/her interest. If a student remains absent from school without any sanction of leave following action will be taken:
a) 1st absence : Student will be advised
b) 2nd absence : Student will be warned to be careful in this regard
c) 3rdabsence : Student will be fined Rs.10/- per day.
d) 4thabsence : Letter will be sent to parents.
e) 5th absence : Student will be liable to withdrawal
f) If a student absents himself/herself from school before or after a holiday, including Saturdays and Sundays and before the exams, without any valid reason, a fine of 10/- per day will be charged.
The period of healing before returning to class must be observed as follows:-
CHICKEN POX : It takes approximately THREE WEEKS for complete recovery. However, the child should not be sent to school till the scabs fall off.
MEASLES : TEN DAYS from appearance of rash.
MUMPS : Until the swelling of the salivary glands has subsided.
NOTE : When a student, having suffered from any of the above mentioned diseases, rejoins school, he/she must get a certificate of fitness from the Doctor.
i) April (fees./by 10th April) April with admission
ii) May and June by 10th May
iii) July, August, September by 10th July
iv) October, November, December by 10th October
v) January, February, March by 10th January
(Parents desirous depositing fees for April, May, June can do so.)
b) The bus charges are subject to revision as per hike in price of diesel.
