Children’s Day is celebrated on the 14th of November. It is celebrated for marking the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister,who was popular as Chacha Nehru. He always had a glorious love for children and considered that children are the upcoming future creators of the nation.

Sacred Stanford School always want to inculcate spirit of Sympathy, empathy, Compassion, Care and Love in its learners. Therefore school make the students visit a special school ( Blind and Handicapped school) of the area and in view of the upcoming winter seasons clothes, fruits and other edible items were distributed among the students present there.

Students of Grade 4th, 5th, 9th and 10th take part in the plantation drive inside the school premises. The motive behind this was to bring the students close to the nature and of course beautification of the school.

In another event students of Grade 6th, 7th and 8th visited the an ancestral village ” Khatkar Kalan” of the Shaheed-e- Azam Bhagat Singh to pay their tribute to martyrs.The students were mesmerized on seeing the personal belongings of Shaheed E Azam which have been carefully preserved by Punjab Government at the museum.

Last but not the least little champs of school turned their feets on their favourite tunes.
